Virginia will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and quiet joys. She cherished the simple pleasures in life—particularly her regular lunches with her beloved classmates, where laughter and friendship were always on the menu. These gatherings were a source of happiness and connection that she treasured deeply. She loved taking photos and making sure everyone had a copy.
A devoted gardener, Virginia found peace and purpose in tending to her flowers and plants. Her garden was more than just a patch of earth—it was a reflection of her care, patience, and love for the beauty of life. She could often be found with her hands in the soil, nurturing her blooms with the same devotion she gave to her family and friends.
Virginia retired from Magna-Donnelly.
Virginia is survived by her children Jeannie White, Barbara Dannison (husband Richard), Lester Smith (wife Jessie) and Ruth Kellett-Bennett (husband Dale); grandkids Laila and Mark Sample, Leanne and Evan Franke, Sarah Slough, Leslie and Gerald Sarazin, and Elizabeth White; great-grandkids Harrison Slough, Kamia Sample and Graham Franke; and siblings Marie Jenkins, Doris Bishop, Mary Jewett and James Richards. Her legacy of love, friendship, and quiet grace will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing her.
