

During Adolph younger days, he was very charming, loving, spoiled child love by everyone. He was very talented and was great at everything he touch or focus on. He enjoyed drawing, playing instruments, baseball, basketball, and then had great love for football. He had so many trophies it was unbelievable in all sports he played. PAL, Inwood Buccaneers even in high school. While living in South with his father, his coach Jack Bush saw Adolph had the potential to go pro. He was scouted and ended up getting a full scholarship to go to Central State University in Ohio to play his passion for football as a quarterback.
While on college break, he decided to visit people he knew in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He met a woman named Jackie, whom later him and her had a child Lavander Johns. His one and only child was his pride and joy.
Unfortunately Adolph was shot in Spring of 1992 in his back leaving him paralyzed from waist down. Adolph did not let that stop him from being a great dad or his dreams. He decided to move back to NYC where he work in a radio station in Goldwater on Roosevelt Island. He then decided to work with Joe Wize for Indiggo Records and became a dope MC as well as an A&R for the company. He came up with the group name, X- Menn. Adolph decided to call himself the Black X ( known as Xavier). He loved to rap. His style as a emcee was refreshing to sound of hip hop.
He later in life was paired to work with Amazing Grace, Tony Barn, Wayne Shula, Ajax, Seth Silensir, Lo Swoofin as well as other great producers and artists. Adolph
was known to many as a Superhero. It's nothing that Adolph couldn't achieved or do even wheelchair bound. This man has been in so many sports, short films including Scam City and recording records in Quad Studios all while dealing with the daily limitations of his disability. He not only showed his determination and strength by not once give up or complaining.
Adolph Johns IV is the definition of a Champion. He has always been there for people when you need him most. He was a leader, independent, stand up, responsible, innovative, respectful and influential man to many people.
On Dec 14, 2022 Adolph gain his wings. He is survived by his son, Lavander Johns; grandchildren Layla and Love Johns; siblings: Angela Johns, Nikki Gill and Marcus A. Moore; father: Adolph Johns III nephew: Chris aunts: Felice Acree, Jacqueline Bush; uncle: Albert Jefferson, James McCray, Bishop Johns, Dico Johns, Herman Johns and a host of cousins, family and friends. A special Thank You to Marvin for being not only his friend but someone he called a brother too.
