Alfonso Romano passed away peacefully Monday night surrounded by his family. We are relieved for him that he is not suffering anymore and he is now at peace and in the loving arms of our family members that have passed. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend to many. Al worked tirelessly to master the trades that would define his career. He was a blacksmith, construction contractor, asphalt paver, and real estate entrepreneur. But, most of all he was an inspiration. He worked hard to create a wonderful life for his family who he loved so much. Saying that we are proud of what he has done for us would be an understatement. He was a guiding source in so many people’s lives. There are not enough words to describe the legacy that Al built and who he was. His wife, daughter, son-in-law, and grandson will carry out all that he taught us and remember him as the incredible man that he was. We lost an idol, a hero, and a best friend and we will miss him, tremendously, forever.
A visitation for Alfonso will be held Friday, May 23, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Frederick Funeral Home 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358.
