Amanda Ysabel Tello

Amanda Y. Tello Robles of Queens, NY was 83 years old when she passed away on Tuesday, December 14th surrounded by her loving family. Amanda married Antonio Tello in 1960. Born in Lima, Peru, Amanda, and her family came to the United States in 1981 where she continued to provide a loving and nurturing household not just to her family but friends as well. Amanda’s love for life was expressed by her delight to spend time with her “kids” and “grandkids”, she really made them feel like winners no matter the accomplishment or setback. Amanda enjoyed music; “her salsa tracks are legendary”; along with the music came the dancing, her little shopping escapades, and traveling with her loved ones.

Amanda is the beloved wife of Antonio Tello for 61 years, the loving mother of Victor Tello and his wife Janet, Carmen Hadjigeorgiou and her husband Alex, Enrique Tello and his wife Jacqueline, Patricia Tello, and Michael Tello and his wife Inbal. She is the cherished sister of Yolanda Castro, Oscar Robles, Carmen Bobadilla, Luis Robles, and Bertha Romero. Amanda is predeceased by her brother Victor Robles and sisters Hilda Torres and Lidia Mendoza. She is also survived by her adored grandchildren Lindsay, Andy, Chris, Sedric, Alexia, and Daniel.

A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Sunday December 19, 2021, from 3PM – 7PM at Frederick Funeral Home, 1925-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. Flowers may be delivered directly to the funeral home.

A burial service will be held on Monday December 20, 2021, at 10:30 AM at Flushing Cemetery 163-06 46th Avenue, Flushing, NY 11358. Procession from the funeral home to the Cemetery will start around 9:45 am
