Andy Maddalena

Andy was a devoted husband (Dukies) to his wife, Margaret Maddalena, nee Hayes and a proud and loving father (Papa Dukes) to Derek (Donna) Maddalena, Jessica (Anthony) Cafarelli, Jeffrey (Lisa) Maddalena.

He was a cherished grandfather (Grandpa Dukes) to Jenna and Nicholas Maddalena, Anthony Cafarelli, Marco and Valentina Maddalena.

Brother of Betty, Nancy, Linda, Joey, Harold and Doreen and brother-in-law to Maryann(Rick)Gorman and Father James Hayes. He was a treasured uncle and a true friend to many, especially the Sestak, Cafarelli and Chiappa families.

His family was the center of his life and he took great joy in being present for the people he loved. His kindness left the lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Andy spent a part of his life working for the United States Postal Service-Gracie Station.

He loved riding motorcycles, puzzles, woodworking, cards, western movies swap meets and browsing eBay.

His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

In honor of his memory and in lieu of flowers the family welcomes donations to the Covenant House or St Judes.
