Mr. Gorecki was born in Flushing, NY on February 4, 1925.
A resident of Flushing for over 70 years, Mr. Gorecki is survived by his wife, Rita, his children, Nancy Daigneult, Kenneth and Michael Gorecki, and Janet Groves, as well as four grandchildren and his sister, Adelaide Doran and her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be take place at Holy Family Parish on Wednesday, April 4, 2012.
Burial will follow in Mount St. Mary's Cemetery.
