Bonnie DeSalvo

Born to the late Peter and Angelina DeSalvo, Bonnie was a beloved daughter and a loving sister to Wendy J. Gilmore and her husband John, Sheila Glickman and her late husband Gerry, and the late Debra Low and her late husband Peter. She was a cherished cool aunt to Alyson (Brian) Lally, Johnny (Lisa) Gilmore, Michael Gilmore, Wendy (Liane) Gilmore-Fitzgerald, Gena (Aaron) Steckleberg, Brian (Meredith) Glickman, Amanda Low, Kelly Low, and the late Petrina Low. Bonnie was also an adored great aunt to Tyler, Isabella, Sophia, Dylan, Cora, Graham, Max, Sawyer, Peter, Adruw and Lucas.

Bonnie was a proud Saint John's University Alumna and devoted choir member at St. Thomas More Church for over 25 years.

She was also a manager at the NYC Department of Social Services where she dedicated her career to working with the homeless.

Her compassion and dedication were evident in her work, leaving a lasting impact on those she helped.

Visitation will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, located at 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358, on February 3, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas More Church, located at 80-00 Utopia Pkwy, New York, NY 11432, on February 4, 2026, at 10:00am. Inurnment to follow at Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery at a later date.
