Carlos G. Pineda

Born in Peru, Carlos met the love of his life at a young age, and together they built a beautiful life rooted in love and family. They married in 1961 and were blessed with four children — Carlos, Patricia, Milagros, and Vanessa.

In 1968, Carlos moved his family to New York City, where he began a long and successful career with IBM as a computer programmer. He was known for his intelligence, work ethic, and deep pride in his Peruvian heritage.

Carlos was an active member of the Peruvian community in New York. He volunteered with the Peruvian Council in Manhattan and later became President of Club Perú in the mid-1990s, where he worked tirelessly to promote culture, unity, and community among Peruvian immigrants.

Beyond his accomplishments, Carlos will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for his family. He is survived by his three children, three grandchildren — Obed (26), Arianna (24), and Julius (17) and the late Patricia— and two great-granddaughters, Selena (4) and Giuliana (2). His legacy of love and strength will continue to live on through them.

The family of Carlos G. Pineda will be receiving visitors at the Frederick Funeral Home on Sunday, October 5, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00PM. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Monday, October 6, 2025 at 9:30am at St. Michael's RC Church, 136-76 41st Avenue, Flushing, NY 11355. Interment to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, 127-15 Kew Gardens Road, Kew Gardens, NY 11415.
