Carmela Capezza was born on March 28th 1936 in New York City. She grew up in Astoria, Queens with her parents Fannie and Angelo and her 2 siblings Rosemarie and Joseph.
Carmela married the love of her life, Philip J. Capezza, in 1956 and their life together was magical. They dedicated their lives to raising five children Joseph, Valerie, Philip, Louis and Laura.
Carmela, who many knew as Millie, was full of love and devotion for her children. Millie was so proud of her family, she adored spending time with her 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Nanny was always there cheering her family on. Spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was her favorite thing to do.
She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
