Born June 1, 1925 in Trani, Italy, she later moved to the USA with her husband Carmine (Carmelo) and her 3 young daughters Ernesta, Anna and Maria. She settled In New York where she built a life centered around love and unwavering devotion. She worked very hard as a seamstress to help support the family along with her husband.
Her greatest joy was her family. she became a loving and devoted grandmother to her five grandchildren, Nicholas, David, Alexis, Steven, and Michael. They then blessed her with 10 beautiful great grandchildren. Nothing brought her more happiness than being surrounded by the people she loved. Her home was filled with love and her presence made everyone feel welcomed and cared for.
In her final day, she was surrounded by those she loved. Chiara and Carmine are now reunited. Though our hearts are broken we find comfort in knowing they are together again.
Mom your love was our greatest gift and your memory will remain in our hearts forever.
Visitation will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358, US, on August 13, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Religious Ceremony will take place at St. Anastasia's Roman Catholic Church, 45-14 245th St, Douglaston, NY 11362, US, on August 14, 2026, from 10:45 am to 11:45 am.
A Committal Service will follow at Mount St. Mary Cemetery, 172-00 Booth Memorial Ave, Flushing, NY 11365, US, on August 14, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
