Christopher J. Campbell, 61, of Queens, NY, passed away on Sunday, October 18th at his home in Greenport, NY. Christopher, the youngest son of Robert and Germaine, lived a full life. One could find him using every talent to support his adopted community of Greenport, whether by volunteering at the East End Seaport Museum, or lending his adept cooking skill to assist local wineries.
Christopher took his roles of confidant, chef and problem solver deeply and seriously. He will forever be cherished and missed; the warmth he shared through simple wisdom, thoughtful words, and random acts of kindness will never be replaced. He could not have been more loving, caring or devoted as a partner, uncle, son and brother. No matter the occasion - Greek Easter, cigars, football or concerts - he brightened every path he crossed.
Christopher is survived by his fiancée, Angela Spatorcio, and two siblings, Judith and Vincent. He is predeceased by siblings, Robert and Patricia, and parents, Robert and Germaine.
Viewings will be held Thursday, October 22, from 2 – 5pm and 7 – 9pm. Funeral Mass will occur Friday, October 23, at 9:45am at St. Kevin’s Roman Catholic Church, located at 45-21 194th Street.
