Christopher James Flynn, 48, passed away on October 1, 2026. Born on August 9, 1978, Christopher was a resident of Lindenhurst, New York. Through a life marked by steady dedication and hard work, he gave his best to those he loved and to the responsibilities he carried.
Christopher "Chris" Flynn was a man whose world revolved around his family. Above all else in this life, Chris loved his three boys and his family with a passion and devotion that knew no bounds. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for his family and friends; to know Chris was to have a steadfast protector, a loyal advocate, and a true friend in your corner.
Chris was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved. He was a natural host, famous for throwing barbecues that brought everyone together around good food, laughter, and great company. A hands-on man who always had a vision, Chris loved rolling up his sleeves for hands-on projects, especially when it came to meticulously maintaining his beloved fish tanks. When relaxing at home, he enjoyed tuning into his favorite cooking shows, always picking up new ideas to share with those he loved.
Among his favorite places to make memories was Disney, where he cherished every magical moment with his family. He was eagerly anticipating and counting down the days until he could take his boys back once again.
Family always came first for Chris—without exception, without reservation. He was truly an incredible man whose quiet resolve and inner power were unlike anything anyone had ever witnessed. When life presented its hardest trials and Chris faced his illness, he demonstrated a fierce, unbelievable resilience. He fought harder than anyone thought humanly possible, drawing every ounce of his courage to stay strong and keep going for his wife, his sons, and his family.
Chris was, and always will be, a legend. His unshakeable strength, his boundless love, and his extraordinary fight will live on forever in the hearts of his beloved wife his three cherished sons, his extended family, and the countless friends whose lives he touched so deeply.
Beloved husband of Jaimie Elizabeth Flynn, Christopher was a loving father of Connor, Brayden and Dylan. He cherished his role as son of Patricia Ann Flynn and the late Lawrence Flynn, and was a devoted brother of Tiffany (Dan) Ailet, Daniel Flynn and Devon (Zulina) Flynn.
