Hello Jennifer, I'm not sure if you'll remember me but I grew up in Flushing near you and went to St. Kevin's with you and Chris.  I moved to Florida with my parents before graduating with you.  I think we were in class with each other every year from kindergarten until 5th grade.  Even though he was a few years older than me, he always included me in some hockey games and stuck up for me around the older kids.  He was always kind to me regardless of the situation.  I am so sorry for your loss...

I'm sorry I am getting to this a little late. I just found out about Chris through a mutual friend after looking at his Facebook page. I have known Chris since HS, met through mutual neighborhood friends. Nice, funny guy always a smile on his face. I saw him maybe a year ago, hung out and had a great time. He posted funny things on FB all the time, but it had been a few months, wanted to see how he was doing and was so sad to see and hear the news. To his family and close friends I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great guy and lived a great life. I was blessed to know him and see him when I did. May he Rest in Peace, God Bless.

    The light is a bit darker as of now. The world seems less fun and the laughter is barely there. I, personally, will miss the days of hearing you laugh so hard that you would snort. Everytime we saw you our time was filled with laughter and just good times. It pains us to know that your smile and laugh won't be visible and audible to us anymore. However, they are indelibly etched into our memory and when we need a smile or a laugh we will think back to all the good times and  find the quick inspiration to laugh and smile. We are all sending much love and absolute respect to you for brightening our days. We love you brother!

I am very sorry for your loss. I grew up around the block from Chris and spent countless Saturdays in the St. Kevin's parking lot playing hockey with him and our friends. Over the years, I moved away to the west coast, but anytime I returned to the neighborhood, I always seemed to run into him. Every time I saw Chris, he always greeted me with a hug and that huge smile. He was a truly wonderful friend to me when we were kids and he is fondly remembered and deeply missed.

Just learned Chris passed away. The Anderson Family James, Dorothy, Jimmy n Lori n family are sorry for your loss. I would always see Chris in church, the bank.  He was the kindest young man. He will be missed.


I have known and worked with Chris for over twenty years. Although we would only see each other in passing a few times a year Chris was always friendly and kind. I offer condolences to all his family and friends. I will miss him.

I work in Court & would see Chris quite often. I never saw this man without a smile on his face. We would have a little chat & wish each other well & he'd be on his way. Although i did not know him well, i did know him a long time. I can tell you his smile & humor will be missed.

Dear Scavetta Family:

I really cannot find the words to convey my deepest sympathy and prayers for all of you.

This is a terrible situation but I will always remember Chris with that happy smile on his face.  He was one of the nicest and sweetest persons that I know.   He was too young and and he should have had a long happy life ahead of him.

I know Chris was welcomed into Heaven where his family is waiting for him and he will be happy.
