She was interested in photography, travel, and horses, and was fiercely independent. She married Louis in 1960 and raised her family in Flushing, NY and was known for her volunteering at The Queens Historical Society where she was a Trustee and a vital member of this important institution for over 50 years. She was active in her local church, St. Andrew Avellino, along with her husband who predeceased her in 2024. She was a spirited individual who was a great fighter for any cause that she deemed worthy. If she was in a room, you knew it. She was an avid NY Mets fan and enjoyed opera and classical music.
