Daniel Bartucci

Daniel Bartucci, 84, passed away on Tuesday, February 18th, after a brief but absolutely fearless battle against ALS. He triumphantly entered into heaven, reunited with his beloved wife, Donna, just ahead of what would have been their 59th wedding anniversary. Their love story began in 1956 while working at the RKO Keith’s Theatre in Flushing, NY, and from that moment on, they were inseparable. Together, they built a life filled with love, devotion, and unwavering commitment to family. Dan now joins his cherished wife, Donna, his parents, Dominick and Lucy, and his brother, Anthony. Dan was an incredible, supportive, and loving father to his three children: Dina Marie, Elizabeth Ann, and Daniel Gerard. And loving father in law to Melissa and Marcelo. As a grandfather, he was a source of joy and inspiration to his four grandchildren. He became more than an in law to his wife’s family, Becoming a brother to Harry, Paula, Toni, Rita, Johnny and Tina and a proud member of the Dan triumvirate. Dan proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1957 to 1961, demonstrating the same loyalty and dedication that he carried throughout his life. He worked at Con Edison from 1961 to 1997. He spent time during his retirement, as a bowling coach for the all girl St. Agnes High School Bowling Team. A man of unwavering faith, integrity, and dedication, Dan was known for his dependability and kindness. Outside of his deep love for family and friends, he had a lifelong passion for bowling. Since 1962, he bowled in a league every year without fail, earning numerous accolades, including multiple perfect 300 games and 800 series. Even as a senior bowler, he continued to achieve perfection, remarkably bowling a perfect game at the age of 84. We are deeply saddened by the loss of such a wonderful man—full of joy who was relentlessly generous with his time, and was steadfast in his faith. The family of Daniel Bartucci will be receiving visitors on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Frederick Funeral Home and Monday, February 24, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 10:30 AM at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, 123-06 14th Ave., College Point,, NY 11356. An interment will follow at Mount St. Mary Cemetery, 172-00 Booth Memorial Ave, New York, NY 11365.
