Throughout her life, Delizia carried herself with a steady sense of purpose and care for others, offering warmth and consideration in ways that made people feel seen and supported. Her days reflected a strong work ethic and a willingness to do what needed to be done, and she gave of herself freely—through time, attention, and the quiet kindnesses that so often mean the most.
Family was always at the center of Delizia’s life. She is survived by her loving son John Vito Moraglia and two grandchildren, Gianni Apollo Moraglia and Marisol Angeles Moraglia.
Delizia also found joy in the comforts of home, especially in the kitchen. She loved to cook, and her “killer lasagna” was a favorite Sicilian recipe to be enjoyed on Sundays for her family get togethers.
A memorial visitation will held on Saturday July 18, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Frederick Funeral Home 192-15 Northern Blvd Flushing, NY 11358
