If you ever needed to find Despina, she was almost always on a Greek beach, where the Aegean water brought her the utmost joy and peace. As a proud Greek, she adored her country's beauty and wanted to bring it out in everyone she met and everything she touched, whether in her long career as a beautician, as a friend who wanted those around her to feel beautiful, or as an avid knitter with a fashionista's eye. That same spirit made her generous, always giving abundantly and never expecting anything in return. Despina loved long walks with family and friends, usually outpacing everyone, full of energy and fueled by nature's beauty and quality time with loved ones.
As Despina now walks into eternal paradise, we remember the profound love she gave the world as a devoted mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and lifelong friend.
