As we remember Donna, I find comfort in the words of John 11:25-26:

“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.’”

May these words bring you solace, knowing that Donna’s spirit lives on in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ.

May God bless you all and bring you comfort. Donna will always be remembered, always loved, and forever missed.

Dear Donna’s family,
I still can’t believe that it has been a year since God called our dear Donna home. My heart goes out to each of you during this difficult time, and I pray that our Lord’s boundless love and grace surround and comfort you. Please know that you are in my thoughts and my daily prayers at the Divine Mercy Shrine.

Throughout our lives, we are blessed to meet remarkable souls who leave a lasting imprint on our hearts. Donna was one of those rare and beautiful souls for both me and my young son. During our time working together, she was a source of immense support, guiding me through some of life’s toughest struggles with kindness and wisdom.

She taught me how to face hardships with grace and dignity, especially when I endured the painful loss of someone dear to me. Her unwavering support and friendship meant the world to me, and for that, I will always be grateful. I will forever hold Donna close in my heart and prayers.

I’ll never forget a conversation I once had with my former supervisor, Mrs. Delores (R.I.P.), who said that Donna was like the final star placed on top of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. No matter how lovely the tree was, it always felt incomplete until that last, shining star was placed, bringing everything together in perfect harmony. Donna had that same presence in our lives. She wasn’t just a colleague or a friend; she was the heart that made everything feel whole, the light that brought warmth and comfort to those around her. Without that star, the tree feels unfinished, and for so many of us, Christmas will never feel quite the same without Donna, a shining star who continues to shine in our hearts.

Even though time and distance caused our paths to drift apart after I left the hospital and moved to Florida, she and her precious family always remained in my prayers and heart. I thank God for the privilege of knowing her, not just as a colleague, but as a true friend.

My deepest condolences to Donna's family and love ones.
As one of her colleagues for over 30 years, Donna was my immediate supervisor of the EKG technician team.
God gave us the privilege to cross path with Donna,  she was an amazing beautiful, sociable; loveable classic woman of high integrity full of love and grace.
A personal counselor who encourage most of us, a woman of faith and a vessel of honor.
We are reminded that God almighty is still present and will bring comfort to her friends and family. 
In the Psalms 34:18 says, "The lord is near the broken hearted and saves those crushed in spirit"  In the gospel of Mathew 5:4 says. "Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted"
The evangelist, Billy Graham says "The Bible indicate that when we die we are not alone, as angels accompany us on our journey  to heaven (if that's our destiny) as she enter the pearl gates of heaven"
As a Christian believer, we cross over asleep as our destiny is heaven to be with the king of glory, the messiah.
Donna mission is completed,  she had touch so many lives, with her love, hugs, and kisses, alone with her bright smile. We will always cherish the beautiful memories deep down in our hearts.
I want to thank Donna's parents for sharing their lovely daughter with all of us. And also to Donna's husband and daughters as well,

Tia Donna never missed a birthday or milestone. She'd leave little gifts on our cars for special occasions. I just graduated Sunday and felt an emptiness, but I know she was cheering me on from above. We love you, Tia Donna. ❤️

To Donna's family:
Please accept my deepest condolences.  As all, I was shocked and saddened upon hearing the tragic news of her passing.  I knew Donna in a singular capacity through her work at Elmhurst Hospital.  But despite my limited interactions with her, it took me little time to understand the type of person she was.  Beyond being professional and fully effective in her work, she was easily one of the kindest, most warm-hearted people I've ever met.  She genuinely cared about others.  When we interacted, she would always take the time to ask about my family/daughter.  Watching the tribute video, my spirits were lifted to see how much love and joy she had in her life with all of you.  But, I'd be lying if said my heart didn't ache thinking about the memories yet to be made that were deprived by her having been taken so soon.  I pray for all who loved her that they be given the strength to carry on.  And as shattered as those who loved her the most must be, I can only hope there is some solace in knowing the following.  There are certain people in this world who just have a light in them.  Donna was one of these people.   And while she is no longer with us, her light will never be extinguished, nor will it be forgotten.  Because it lives in each of the people who were lucky enough to know her in this world.  May she rest in peace.

I was Donna and her family's neighbor in Corona.  She was my mom's cardiologist at Elmhurst hospital many years ago, though we were not at gatherings together I remember her fondly walking with her mom and taking her brothers to school.  So very sad to hear about her passing.  She is now in paradise May she RIP eternally.  Prayers for the family in their time of loss and sadness.   I share with you all in mourning. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Dian and I will never forget Donna’s presence at Winthrop hospital the day our first daughter, Sophia, was born. (Halloween, 2009). These pics are from exactly 2 months later as we celebrated the New Year with Donna, Rick and their amazing family.

Heaven has an extra angel… thank you Donna for all the beautiful memories from raising our daughters and enjoying our family’s friendship. You will be forever in our hearts.
