Dora was a second grandma to me she always made sure I had to something to eat or drink or a place to seat even when I was little and till this day  & she always asked about my family she was a special lady and she will always have a special place in my heart she always sat in her little spot on the couch every time I came to visit I will miss seeing her there. she will be truly missed by many especially her daughters , family and grandchildren and great grandchildren

The Gift of Prayer — A Legacy of Love

On behalf of my family and me, I want to thank each one of you for your prayers, your presence, and your kind words. As my mother would often say, “Gracias por las lindas palabras.” Thank you for the beautiful memories you have shared with us, memories that bring comfort during this tender time.

My mother would also say, “Please forgive me if I ever offended you; I always wanted the best for you. Let you fly high.” That was her heart—humble, loving, and always seeking peace.

My mother was a lifelong student and teacher. She loved learning, growing, and improving herself. She taught us to love deeply, to care sincerely, to forgive freely, and to share our talents, our treasures, and our time with family, friends, and community. She loved her country, and she understood the importance of voting and participating to help protect and uplift our community and the world.

One of her greatest teachings—and one of her greatest gifts—was the gift of prayer. She created a home where prayer was not just something we did, but something we lived. She hosted a rosary group in her home, gathering people together to praise God and Jesus Christ. She prayed every day to connect with heaven, to give thanks, to seek guidance, to acknowledge mistakes, to repent and change, and to pray on behalf of others.

She taught us that prayer brings the greatest gifts:

Peace

Comfort

Closeness to Jesus Christ

Gratitude for all that God has given us.

Mi abuelita querida, 
I am blessed to have 33 years of wonderful memories with you. You’ve taught us so many things in that time. For one, my love to learn Spanish definitely came from you. I remember watching telenovelas with you each night on the couch growing up. My favorite memory was every time you made sure to cover my eyes whenever there was a kiss— which was a lot! We shared a mutual love for Cadbury chocolate with almonds and Cristiano Ronaldo. Te vamos extrañar bastante pero siempre vivirás en nuestras memories. Te queremos mucho. Duerme con los angelitos, abuelita 💕

The heart of our wonderful family. Capturing 35 years of memories in words is a challenge. My passion for dance, travel, and a sharp sense of style began with her. Her selfless spirit always ensured everyone felt comfortable and seen. We will carry her beautiful spirit with us wherever we go.

Dora’s warmth and kindness was so apparent from the moment I joined the family. She was always the one that made sure I had a place to sit, and knew where the food was. That was Dora, always most concerned about those around her.

The legacy she leaves behind is nothing short of amazing. Dora welcomed so many challenges in life and turned them into opportunities. She made the most of every day, and I will always be so thankful for the way she welcomed me to the family. Her impact will last for generations, and I will always consider it an honor to have crossed paths with her.

Rest in peace to a wonderful woman.

Tengo muchas memorias de cuando éramos chicas querida Rossina pero de todas la que más recuerdo es cuando parábamos en tu cocina y nos sentábamos sobre un pato inflable que saltaba como resorte y tú mamita cocinaba sopa y después de jugar siempre nos servía sopita caliente y nos llamaba para sentarnos a comer éramos unas traviesas pero tu mamá siempre se reía de todo  el cielo Hano un ángel más  mucha fortaleza a todos que ella está en paz, al lado de Gino  su hijo querido y tu papá quien siempre paraba en su ventana  in abrazo con mucho amor

Mis más sentidas condolencias por irreparable pérdida de tu querida mamá,  un fuerte abrazo Rossina hazle extensivo a tus hermanas, siempre la tendré presente en mi corazón,que el Señor la tenga en su Gloria.
