Edward J. Ledden

Beloved Father of Christine Conti, James (Lisa) and Thomas. Loving grandfather of Melissa, Kristen, Michelle, James, Jack, Grace and Caroline. Adored great grandfather of Aidan, Emelyn and Jack. Devoted son of the late Anne McGuire and Thomas. Dear brother of John (Hilda, deceased), Margaret (Charles, deceased), Thomas (deceased), Michael (Helen), Ann Marie (Eugene), and James (deceased).

Edward was born and raised in Long Island City, NY, the youngest of 7 close knit siblings. In his 78 years, he was many things to many people. He was a son, brother, a proud Vietnam Veteran, a husband, a Dad, a Grandpa, Great Grandpa, Uncle and friend (as well as a long suffering Mets fan).

He proudly and bravely served in the U.S Army from 1967-1969, spending a year in Vietnam. His pride of his time spent serving his country stayed with him for the rest of his life.

He was the proudest Dad to Christine, Jim and Thomas and enjoyed spending time with all of them as well as his 10 Grandchildren.

He will be missed by all.

A visitation for Edward will be held Friday, November 24, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Quinn - Fogarty Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. Funeral mass Saturday, November 25, 2023 9:15 AM at St Patrick's Church, 400 Main Street, Huntington, NY 11357. A graveside service will follow at St Patrick's Cemetery, Huntington Road, Huntington.
