

Eileen was born to Bridget and Martin Casey on December 15, 1943 in the Bronx. She graduated from Mount St. Ursula High School.
After graduating from high school, Eileen went to work for NY Telephone as a Staff Manager. She moved to Kew Gardens in Queens before settling in Flushing, NY where she proudly bought her first home for herself and her parents. In retirement she worked alongside her sister as a volunteer with the Board of Elections for many years. Eileen was an avid bowler and loved to travel. She made many trips to Ireland and took many cruises with friends, always staying connected with her loved ones. She was a loving aunt who always went above and beyond for any celebration; birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and even dance recitals, traveling as far as North Carolina, many times, to do so. Eileen was a devout Catholic and attended Mass at St. Ann’s every Sunday, watching online when she was unable to be there in person.
Eileen was predeceased by her mother and father, her sister, Anna Marie Casey, her brother, Martin Casey and her sister, Patricia McShea.
Eileen is survived by her niece and nephews, Daniel McShea (Carolyn), Anne Marie Margies (Robert), Edward McShea (Kathleen), Christopher McShea (Stephanie), and her great nieces and nephews - Meghan, Haley and Shannon Margies; Casey, Lorraine and Donald McShea; and Kylie, Lindsay and Jack McShea. She is also survived by many close friends.
A visitation for Eileen will be held Monday, July 20, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Quinn - Fogarty Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 9:30 AM at St. Ann’s Church, 58-02 146th Street, Flushing, NY 11355. Interment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx, NY 10465.
