

Elsie Zincone, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on March 8, 2024. Elsie a loving wife shared seven children with the late Joseph Zitolo. A cherished wife of the late Al Zincone, and together they built a life full of love and family. Elsie's departure leaves a void that will be felt deeply by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Elsie was the loving mother of Lorraine (Ernie) Keller, Roberta (and the late Richie) Cowen, Susann (and the late John) Morrow, Christine (Michael) Galluccio, Joseph (Donna) Zitolo, and Tina (Michael) Bartolotta and the late Joanne Zitolo (Donald Downs). Her legacy continues through her extensive family, including grandchildren Jason, Stephanie, Al, Kim, Danielle, Larry, John, Tommy, Bernadette, Robert, Deanna, Cybill, Joseph, Stephen, Victoria, Michael, the late Michelle and Michael. Elsie was also adored as a great-grandmother by Amberley, Nicholas, Jake, Haley, Kayla, John, Kate, Tommy, Christopher, Tanner, William, Matthew, Justin, Brooklyn, Jordyn, Alexandra, and Isabella.
Elsie was the matriarch of her family, a role she embraced with grace, warmth, and unconditional love. Her caring and loving nature touched the lives of everyone around her, creating a legacy that will endure for generations.
Elsie found joy in simple pleasures, from playing Phase 10 and word search games to savoring the comfort of a well-made Manhattan. Her zest for life was contagious, and she shared her happiness with all who knew her.
To celebrate Elsie's life, the family will be receiving visitors on Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Blvd., Flushing, New York 11358. The entombment will take place on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 11:30 AM at St. Michael's Cemetery, 72-02 Astoria Blvd., East Elmhurst, New York 11370.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to American Cancer Fund in Elsie's memory. Elsie's spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and her memory will be a source of comfort and inspiration for all who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.
