

Garegin was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and husband.
He is survived by:
Daughter: Diana Shaginyan (husband Arthur Bijoyan)
Son: Levon Shahinian (wife Natalie Sukiasian)
Grandchildren: Thomas, Maya, Anthony and Samuel Bijoyan, Eliza and Maximus Shahinian
Sisters: Emma Shahinyan (husband Aramais Khachatryan), Gayane Shahinyan, and Zara Chaginyan (husband Armen Djougarian)
Nieces: Alina and Anna Djougarian
Nephews: Artak and Davit Khachatryan, Vahagn and Grigor Sargsyan
Wife: Karine Kajoyan
Garegin’s life was one filled with love, adventure, and joy. He had an unwavering devotion to his family and found great happiness in spending time with them. He had a special fondness for travel and his adventurous spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
The viewing and wake service will be held on Monday, March 17th, from 7:00PM - 9:00PM (service at 8:30 PM) at Frederick Funeral Home, located at 192-15 Northern Blvd., Flushing, NY 11358.
The prayer service will be held on Tuesday, March 18th, at 10:00AM, at Frederick Funeral Home, located at 192-15 Northern Blvd., Flushing, NY 11358, followed by the interment at 11:15 AM at Nassau Knolls Cemetery, located at 500 Port Washington Blvd., Port Washington, NY 11050.
Garegin's love for life and his family will remain in our hearts forever. May he rest in peace.
