The world became a little less bright on June 4, 2026, with the passing of Haydee Domenech, 67, of Brooklyn, New York. Born on February 4, 1959, in Brooklyn, Haydee was a vibrant soul who truly never met a stranger. Known for her quick, sharp humor, radiant smile, and wonderfully pragmatic approach to life, she had a rare gift for making anyone feel welcome.
Haydee was a woman of immense determination and work ethic. Every step she took toward self-improvement was fueled by a fierce devotion to her children, striving always to give them the absolute best. This tireless drive was mirrored in her remarkable career at a local physical therapy practice. She began as a PT Aide and her unwavering hard work propelled her to Administrative assistant, and ultimately, General Manager of the business's three practices.
An exceptional cook, Haydee delighted in bringing people together. Her kitchen was always open, her table was always full, and she frequently prepared meals that nourished her family, friends, and neighbors alike. Her love for her family was loudly expressed, her faith was held close, and her kindness reached far.
Above all else, her children—Takisha D. Cruz, Jose E. Domenech, and Steven A. Domenech—were the center of her galaxy. Later, her grandchildren—Hashim, Trinity, Aiden, and Damon—became the center of her universe, bringing her immense joy and comfort.
Left to cherish her beautiful memory are her mother, Irene Domenech Morell, and her brothers, David J., Edwin, and Michael A. Domenech. She peacefully rejoins her late father, Jose Domenech Vidal, as well as her loved ones Edna Valle Domenech, Rafael Domenech Vidal, and Rafael Domenech Rosado.
