Ivan Picinic

A beloved husband, devoted father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, and loving brother. Ivan was deeply devoted to his family and those closest to him. Ivan is survived by his beloved wife, Antonia; his loving children, Susan Jovic and her husband, John, and John Picinic and his wife, Aina; his cherished grandchildren, Jason Jovic and his wife, Carly, Emma Picinic, and Jake Picinic; and his beloved great-granddaughter, Hallie Jovic. He is also survived by his brother, Luka Picinic and his wife, Matea, and his sister-in-law, Nicolina Papic and her husband, Ivica. Ivan was predeceased by his sister, Sister Virginia Picinic; his brother, Lino Picinic, and his wife, Maria; and his brother, Egidio Picinic, who is survived by his wife, Maria. Ivan’s memory will forever be cherished by his family and all those whose lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Visitation will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358, US, on September 2, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and again from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 215-35 38th Ave, Bayside, NY 11361, on September 3, 2026, at 10:00 am.

A Committal Service will follow at Mount St. Mary Cemetery, 172-00 Booth Memorial Ave, Flushing, NY 11365, on September 3, 2026, at 11:30 am.
