This does not get any easier. Four years have passed yet the pain of missing you is still so deep. So much has happened in these last couple of years and every step I take I still feel you with me.
I try to pass along your words of wisdom and live by the lessons you taught me. You chose me to be your wife and iam so lucky for that gift.  I carry your love in my heart every single day. 
Though you are no longer here, you remain my partner, my guide and my greatest blessing. I will always honor you, love you and keep your memory alive.

James Campbell may you rest In peace and paradise

I forever will be grateful for you and forever love you. 
I never got to really sit down and have a man to man conversation with you on my gratitude for you. You were a great man James. 
I first and foremost appreciate you for making my mom happy. You were always so caring and made sure she was taken care of, you stepped in her life when she was at a point of her lowest and raised her to the highest point I have ever seen her. 
I can only imagine how many people are going to show up to the loss for you. 
You showed up for everyone around you. Showed up.

Your were not just an amazing husband but a great father. I speak for me and from the looks the rest of my brethren . You let us know you would have our backs. We always had a place to confide in with you. You listened and you spoke with you heart. 
We may have lost the sound of your voice but we will never lose the feeling of your presence. Jim you live on through all of us. 

I love you. 

You radiated light. I have never seen you angry or ever be mean. You found a solution for every problem and always had a smile on your face. You are the best example for humanity to stay kind and be great. You lived out your wishes and married the love of your life. You left an incredible legacy and bonded two fantastic families together.  
I am lucky to have met you. Thank you for showing me a world I never would have seen if it wasn’t for you and Nancy’s love (Aruba). 
And thank you for being strong enough to wait for Joe to be there for his mom in Florida. 
Heaven is lucky to have such a powerful guardian angel.

I am forever grateful for the opportunity to work side by side with you.  As my boss you lead with integrity.  A man full of knowledge,  great sense of humor  and the most genuine person.  I'll surely miss our calls/texts. I will cherish every memories of  you.

I have so many memories with you that will forever hold a special place in my heart.  You truly were one of the kindest, most generous men I’ve ever met.  Your sarcasm always kept me laughing.  I’ve always had nothing, but respect for you for the way you’ve become a father to many as it reminded me of my dad. Your actions have always been pure and genuine, and you loved every one of your children with your whole heart as your voice would perk up when you would speak of them.  That’s something to be so proud of as anyone can be a father, but not everyone can be a dad.  I will forever miss our yearly birthday call/text just to let each other  know how much we valued our friendship and families after so many years.  It was always nice catching up and hearing how everyone was doing.  I still laugh about our many crazy times we shared with Jay, Bernadette, Mulamy, Frank, David, etc. in Flushing.  Please give Jay and Bernadette a big hug from me. I was so thrilled to hear you were reunited with your first love, because no one deserves someone great more than you.  

To Mrs. Campbell, Nancy, Brian, Kevin, Jimmy's beautiful children  and family, my heartaches for each of you, because your words are all true Jimmy was the best of the best and I’m glad you all had each other to lean on throughout the years.  May each of you find comfort recalling your lifetime of memories of Jimmy and may you be covered in a blanket of peace knowing your beloved Jimmy is no longer suffering and now in the arms of his creator. I was blessed to have Jimmy in my life to call a step father, and for that I am forever grateful. He was one of the kindest, most loving, caring, truest person I have ever meet in this entire world. I am forever grateful for every moment we had together. Our talks and time together was of the highest of value. I looked up to you very much when you where here. Jimmy, I am forever grateful that you entered our lives once again.  Who would think after all the years that have passed that I would get to witness my sister marrying her forever love and soulmate? You both truly shared something so unique and pure.  Thank you for loving my sister unconditionally and putting a smile back on her face. You were truly her knight in shinning armor. Can’t even believe that this is true! I can remember all the jokes you’d make all the times that no matter what you were going through you would always be so positive about life about everything! I’m going to miss all our talks and all the advice you would always give me! Literally you were my walking diary! RIP to my second dad

Words cannot express how much I am missing you. You were a great big brother! There will always be an emptiness with you gone. Give my love to Dad; someday, we will all be together again. Heartbroken, your brother, Brian.

Not many people are lucky enough to grow up the way we did. From Ring-a-lario on 160th street to tackle football in Kissena Park.  I grew up surrounded by my best friends one of which was my big sister.  The Campbell house was the center of it all and Jim was the big brother to all of us.  Barbara, Brian and Kevin you will always be like family to me, it’s funny that after 40 years of friendship we are all kind of related. Jim you were the luckiest man in the world, you got to marry your soul mate (I love you sister stay strong) and  I truly believe your love for each other kept you going.  When my time comes I know you’ll be waiting for me at the park with all of our friends for one more game.   Until we meet again my friend.

My heart is broken a piece will always be missing . You were my ROCK!!!  Since your dad died you have always taken over the care of myself and your brothers.  You have made me the proudest mom ever and you are the greatest dad, husband  and uncle and the Best Friend anyone could wish for.
You are loved by so many my son💕🙏🏻

I will forever be grateful for having you in my life. You we’re the best brother to Brian, Brother-in-law to me, uncle to my four children, and godfather to Sarina. You are a selfless man that was always by our side at a moments notice when we needed you. You lived your life with grace and compassion. You were a brave and dignified man who did not allow anyone to influence you or your decisions negatively. You always did what you knew to be right no matter what anyone else thought of it. And, you protected those you love fiercely and you loved with all of your heart! All of these qualities made you a great man, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and godfather to the members of my family. You will always be remembered and very sorely missed!
