James Palese

James Palese,of Valley Stream, NY, born on September 1, 1953, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2024, leaving behind cherished memories and a profound legacy. Predeceased by his parents Gerardo and Lillian “Tootsie” Palese, he was the beloved brother of Linda Gatto and Richard Palese. James was also an adored uncle to Dan, Frankie, Nick, Christopher, Jennifer, Michael, Juliann and Kristen, who held a special place in his heart.

A lifelong friend to many, James shared an enduring bond with William and his wife Adrienne Quinones. Their friendship was a testament to loyalty and companionship, enriching each other's lives with shared experiences and unwavering support.

James found joy in the vibrant atmosphere of Atlantic City, where he cultivated fond memories at the Borgata and Harrah's. His love for the city mirrored his zest for life, embracing the excitement and energy it offered.

As we mourn James's departure, we also celebrate the profound impact he had on those fortunate enough to know him. His warmth, humor, and kindness will be dearly missed by family, friends, and all who had the privilege of crossing his path.

A visitation for James will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. An interment will occur Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Elmwood Cemetery, 501 Elmwood Ave, Columbia, SC 29201.
