In honor of those lost on 9-11, Janet and Thomas created a Memorial garden planting 1000 tulips.

She began at EJ Korvettes as a part time cashier, growing into a Department Manager at Sterns and Store Manager of Lord and Taylor in Garden City, NY. Janet opened her own business , Make a Memory Bridal and Gift shop, working alongside her Goddaughter Lynora Conti.
