Johnny G was from far the best teacher I ever had. I learned so much from him, definitely a person to look up to. We will always remember you.

To John, my handball friend at psycho park.  Sorry to hear of your passing. Just found out through an internet search.  Although we lost contact the last few years, you've been a very good friend.  We've known each other for 30 plus years.  Hope you're playing ball in heaven with your father and Duggan and my father.  RIP, my friend.

We were all in shock to hear of your passing. I still remember babysitting you while living in Astoria, the cozy Christmas Eves in Long Island City, and going to Midnight Mass with you and your parents when you were young.  We miss you and know you are with your mother and father again, both of whom loved you very much. May you be in peace and God be with you.

Johnny, I'm so sorry to hear of your passing.  In my fond memories of our families living the Italian lifestyle and values of our European heritage, all under the same roof, I can still see all of us living and laughing together in the back yard.   It seems that not long ago you were in my wedding and now our lives have progressed through so many stages.  I hope you are at peace in this one.

Though the many years separated us, and our paths in life led us so far apart, I will always remember you like a brother...and my best friend. We were young and laughed joyfully at the strangeness of the world--and that made us live the moments we spent together to their fullest.
