John is survived by his spouse, Ann Janocha; his son John Janocha (Elizabeth); his daughter Michele Scrivani (John); his son Martin Janocha; his son Nicholas Janocha (Maria); and his daughter Christina Prior (Jason); his brother Father Carl Janocha; his grandson Jack, his granddaughter Isabella, his granddaughter Amelia, his grandson John Thomas, his grandson Charlie, his grandson Leo, his granddaughter Caitlin, his grandson Daniel and his grandson Jake.
John was preceded in death by his father Jacek Janocha and his mother Julia Smith.
A visitation for John will be held Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. A funeral mass will occur Friday, July 8, 2022 from 10:45 AM to 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Blessed Sacrament Church, 34-24 203rd Street, Bayside, NY 11361. An interment will occur Friday, July 8, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:20 PM at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Boulevard, Calverton, NY 11792.
