John received wonderful medical care at Flushing Hospital while a patient in their hospice unit. They made sure his final days were free of pain and suffering and that he died with the dignity he deserved. The hospice unit at Flushing Hospital was funded by Michael Russo ( Russo's on the Bay) in memory of his wife Maureen Russo.
