Jose L. Soto

Jose L. Soto, 70, passed away on April 28, 2026. Born on September 12, 1955, Jose will be remembered with deep respect and lasting gratitude for a life marked by devotion, service, and steady love for those closest to him.

Jose was the beloved husband of Carmen L. Soto for 37 year. He was the loving son of the late Jaime and Maria Soto, and a cherished brother of Camille Neeley and the late Jaime Soto.

An Air Force Veteran, Jose carried himself with quiet dignity and pride in his service. Beyond duty, he found freedom and fellowship on the open road—he loved to ride his motorcycle and belonged to Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club. Even in life’s ordinary moments, Jose’s great sense of humor had a way of bringing lightness and comfort to those around him.

Visitation will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358, on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Interment will take place at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933, on Monday, May 4, 2026.
