Met Joey when we both worked at Steak Loft restaurant in Whitestone - he was a couple of years older and he was a cook and I was a busboy/waiter back in the 70’s-I remember he was good natured and a free spirit - a hard worker who was definitely considerate of others especially those on the lower rung  of the restaurant chain (the busboys and dishwashers…) he had a good heart - I remember one snowy night he was kind enough to give me a lift home and he got a kick out of swerving all around the snowy parking lot doing 360’s in his car- I made it home a little shaky but in one piece - Thanks for the lift Joey-  RIP Eric G

Blessed to know him through my family. So sorry to hear he's left us. To his dear family, may your many wonderful memories bring you comfort until you meet again.

So sorry to hear about Joe’s passing. Gina take solace in the realization that you were soulmates and while Joe faced his many obstacles and fought his long uphill battle you were there alongside him  for all the ups and downs. Always his angel of love, support, strength and encouragement. No doubt he  will be your protector , your angel from above.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you .
