Joseph Mongitore, 94 passed away on October 31, 2014 in Boca Raton, FL. He was born on February 10, 1920 in Sicily to Giuseppe and Concetta Mongitore. Joseph was married to Nellie (nee Avellone) who passed away in 2011. He is survived by his loving daughters, Lillian, Maria and Gina, son-in-laws, Charlie, Steven and Michael, grandchildren, Jimmy, Gianna, Joseph, Cristina, Sofia Rose and Avery. Joseph's visitation will be held on Thursday and Friday from 2-5 and 7-9pm at Frederick Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 9:45am at St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Bayside followed by interment at Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery in Flushing, NY. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Frederick Funeral Home, Flushing, New York.
