Katina Kovas, age 99, of Queens, New York passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday, November 2, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Konstantine. Loving mother of Maria Georgiadis Angie Hatzigiannakis and Antonia Apessos. Cherished grandmother of Kia, Katherine, Kostas, Georgia, Christina, Katie, Stephanie and great grandmother of Gabriella, Mariella, Telly, John. Aleko, Dean, Liv, Leo, Ellie, Niko and Effie. Dear sister of John, Joann, Thomas, Penelope and the late Anthony, Niko and Stasa.

The visitation for Katina will be held Sunday, November 5, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. A funeral will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 196-10 Northern Blvd, Flushing, NY 11358. The interment will follow on Monday, November 6, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Flushing Cemetery, 163-06 46th Avenue, Flushing, NY 11358.
