Lidia R. Yanez

Beloved wife of the late Washington P. Yanez, Lidia was the heart and soul of her family. She was a devoted and loving mother to Sandra (Christopher) Turck and Bryan (Christie) Yanez, a cherished grandmother to Alana Yanez, Donovan Turck, Ryan Yanez, and Nicholas Turck, and an adoring great-grandmother to Grayson Shank.

Lidia lived a life full of love, laughter, and deep devotion to those around her. She was a great wife, a wonderful mother, a dear mother-in-law, an amazing grandmother, and an adored great-grandmother. Her warmth, generosity, and boundless energy filled every room she entered. Family was everything to Lidia, and her legacy of love and strength will continue to live on through them.

The family will Lidia will be receiving visitors on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Frederick Funeral Home in Flushing,192-15 Northern Blvd., Flushing, New York 11358. A prayer service will be held at 4:00 PM.

Lidia will be deeply missed, but her spirit will remain in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
