Ljubica Martinovic nee Peros was born in Zaton, Croatia. She graduated from Teacher’s Academy in Zadar, Croatia. Arrived in New York City in 1954 and graduated from Fashion Industries High School.
Talented seamstress who served on the Price Committee for the International Ladies Garment Union. Expert gardener with a green thumb.
Married Veljko Martinovic in 1957 and gave birth to two daughters, Tanja and Ljiljana. Survived by husband Veljko, daughters Tanja and Ljiljana, granddaughters Eva and Julie, great grandchildren Cecilia and Harrison and her sisters Maria and Natalie.
Buried in Petrcane, Croatia. Will be missed and loved by all.
