Dear Raymond and Joanie -  As you know, we met Ray Sr. when the 3 of us worked at Irving Trust Company in the Marine Transport Department.  He was a wonderful man!  We became friends and later met Louise, who was such a kind and loving person.   In 1987, Ray and Louise attended our wedding in Williamsburg, Virginia, and we remained in contact even after jobs changed, and we moved away from Long Island.  For many years Louise and Ray gave our daughters wonderful personalized Christmas tree ornaments (usually based on The Little Mermaid or other Disney characters) bought during the Gruenfelder annual vacation in the Hamptons, and  we continue to enjoy them each holiday season as special mementos of the girls' childhood, and also of our friendship with your parents.   After Ray's passing,  we remained in contact with Louise, and we will always remember her as a caring and thoughtful friend.  May God bless your family during this sad time, and please know that Louise, her loving husband Ray, and all your family will continue to be in our prayers.

I remember going on vacation with Ray Sr. and Louise to Pa. We had a great time together. Laughing and enjoying each other's company. We often went out to eat and to the movies together.
Planning the family picnic and going to Louise's home for a Halloween party. They were the best times. Met Louise 47 years ago when Ray Sr. introduced us and we remained friends ever since. I will miss her dearly as she kept me up to date on the family. Rest in Peace Louise. I love you.



My memories of An'Deweezie go back to before Uncle Ray...She was part of my childhood, in Grandma and Grandpa's house,  and a constant presence from afar in her home around the corner and down a cupla blocks from there. 
Our condolences go to Raymond John and his family during this difficult time.  She's 'gone home' now, to a better place.  I'm sure she's going to watch over her surviving family and friends, while surrounded by those who went before her.
