Lubica Kitevski, 89, was born on September 20, 1936, and passed away on July 28, 2026. She will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew her, and for the steady strength she carried through life.
Lubica was the beloved wife of the late Zhivko. She was a loving mother of Kathy and her husband Nicos, Philip and his wife Nicole. She was a grandmother of Nicholas and Kristal and a great-grandmother of Theo, holding her family close with a quiet resilience that shaped the lives around her.
Lubica also found comfort and joy in gardening, a simple and faithful pursuit that reflected her patient spirit and the care she brought to the world in everyday ways.
Visitation will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358, on July 30, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Committal Service will be held at 11:45 am, St. Michael's Cemetery - Mausoleums/Cremation Niches, 72-02 Astoria Blvd S, East Elmhurst, NY 11370, on July 31, 2026.
