I was so sorry to hear about your dad’s passing. I can’t imagine what you’re going through.  Your family’s friendship has meant a lot to our family over the years.   I’m keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers and you strength and peace in the days ahead.

Last year, while visiting, I walked into the Kingdom Hall on a Sunday and was surprised to see your dad standing outside. Not only was he dropping off your mom, but he was heading upstairs to enjoy the meeting himself. The funniest part was that after greeting both of them, they had absolutely no idea who I was. After the meeting, I asked if I could take a photo along with my mom, to remember the moment.

I also have nothing but good memories of spending time with you all at the house on 87th Rd. Your mom’s hospitality always made me feel at home, and your dad had a way of making me feel like part of the family. He was a very devoted and hardworking man That didn't go unnoticed. I’ll always remember our all-day trips to Jones Beach with your dad driving. Those were great times. We had fun. I am so grateful to have known the Rodriguez family growing up.

I look forward to being in line to greet your dad in the new world. My hope is that the both of you will be the first ones in that line, standing alongside your mom, on that special day. May Jehovah provide you the peace and comfort needed during this difficult time. Louie, my offer is always open bud.
