Maria was born on February 8, 1933, in Mola di Bari, Italy. She came to America from Italy with nothing but courage, determination, and hope for a better future. Through her hard work, love, and dedication, she built a beautiful family that became her greatest accomplishment and proudest legacy.
A talented seamstress, Maria had a gift for working with her hands. She also loved to knit, creating beautiful things with the same care and love she brought to everything she did.
Maria leaves behind her three beloved children, Anthony, Clara, and Caterina; her sons-in-law, James and Alfred; and her cherished grandchildren, Emily, Catherine, Frank, and Michael.
Her family and friends meant everything to her. She devoted her life to the people she loved, and the beautiful family she built will forever be a testament to her strength, her sacrifices, and her unconditional love.
Maria will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family for generations to come.
May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her beloved Franco. ❤️

A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, 58-02 146th St, Flushing, NY 11355, on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:15 am.
A Committal Service will follow at Mount St. Mary Cemetery, 172-00 Booth Memorial Ave, Flushing, NY 11365.
