Maria Assunta Celso, born on August 13, 1956, passed away on February 5, 2026, at the age of 69. She was the beloved wife of the late Emilio Celso (D. 2021.) Loving mother of Rosa Rufrano and Giuseppina Celso. Cherished sister of Francesca Mendico. Dearest grandmother of Angelina, Rafael, Emma and Amelia.
A visitation will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, located at 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358, on February 10, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The funeral mass will take place at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, 34-24 203rd St, Bayside, NY 11361, on February 11, 2026, at 10:45 am.
Entombment will follow at Mount St. Mary Cemetery, 172-00 Booth Memorial Ave, Flushing, NY 11365.
