her life. Born July 20, 1919 in Lynn Massachusetts to Ann and Martin O’Connor, she
graduated from Bayside High School and became a registered nurse.
She moved to Texas during World War II where her husband was an aviator, then
returned to Bayide to raise her family. Mary spent twenty-one retirement years
In Hendersonville North Carolina until she and her husband returned to live by their
family .
Mary loved to socialize with her many friends in Bayside, Texas and North Carolina.
She was active in the Catholic Church and enjoyed worldwide travel with her husband.
She is survived by her sister Dorothy, her son Frank, five grandchildren, eight great-
grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Elbert, and her daughter Bernadette.
