

Moe passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026, in Pennsylvania. He is survived by his wife, his two children, his two grandchildren, and his nieces and nephews.
He was a hard-working and devoted father to his two wonderful children, Erika and Michael; A Loving father in-law to Katie and Matt. A doting grandfather - AKA “Bowpop” - to two precious grandchildren, Hunter Grace and Griffin Hayes; and a fun Uncle Moe to his nieces and nephews, Tanya & Kevin, Marko, Alexis and Nikola.
He was born in Germany at the end of World War II and grew up in the Bronx, New York.
Moe and his wife were married in San Francisco, California - they later retired to Ocean View, Delaware.
In 1967-1968 Moe served in Cuchi, Vietnam as an US Army Medic, B Company, 65th Engineers, 25th Infantry, Tropic Lightning. Honorably discharged, Moe developed a strong bond with his fellow Veterans at the Veterans Administration in Georgetown, Delaware.
On September 11, 2001, Moe served as a First Responder at Ground Zero for three months.
Moe loved every kind of animal, little children, doowop music, old-fashioned movies, crossword puzzles, and word games on his iPhone.
A visitation will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358, US, on Saturday April 11, 2026, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
A Committal Service will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park and Arboretum, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735, US, at 2:15 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations in memory of Morton “Moe” Farber to Disabled American Veterans (DAV), a cause that reflects his service and values:
