Naomi Jean Oates

In 1955, Naomi married her true love, Joseph. Throughout her life, she was a beloved and devoted presence to those who knew her best, steady in her care and generous in the love she gave to her family.

Naomi enjoyed traveling to Europe, Jamaica, and throughout the United States. Later in life, she spent winters in Miami, where she especially enjoyed time by the pool with her noodle. She delighted in bringing her four grandchildren along for life’s outings and adventures, taking them everywhere she could.

In later years, Naomi attended all the senior clubs and loved day trips and shopping—simple pleasures that suited her well and kept her days full and connected.

Naomi is survived by her three daughters, Susan, Sandra, and Regina, and her four grandchildren, Michael, Patrick, Bernadette, and Gloria.

Visitation will be held at Quinn Fogarty Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358, on Tuesday June 30, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Mary's Nativity Church, 46-02 Parsons Blvd,Flushing NY 11355, on Wednesday July 1, 2026, from 10:45 am to 11:30 am.

A gravside service will follow at St. Charles / Resurrection Cemeteries, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
