

Nicholas Piotrowski passed away on Thursday afternoon at his home with loved ones. Nick is survived by Roselyn, his wife of 50 years, three children, John, Victoria, and Michael, and eight grandchildren Julia, Elisabeth, Natalia, Alexa, Lauren, Johnny and Mikey. His beloved grandson, Eddie, is awaiting him in heaven. Nick was an athlete, soldier, master craftsman, little league coach, fisherman, father, brother, uncle, friend, and proud grandfather. His values of loyalty, respect, and family were reflected in his daily life. He enjoyed listening to 50’s classics such as “Whispering Bells” and “Rose in Spanish Harlem.” Country music songs by Marty Robbins, Willie Nelson, and Johnny Cash touched his heart. His gift of excellence, truth, laughter and love are memories that will live on. Nick, Dad, Grandpa is a part of us always. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Street Northern Boulevard. The Funeral is on Thursday, April 6th at 10:45 a.m. at St. Andrew Avellino, RC Church in Flushing, Queens. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Children’s Cardiomyopathy Foundation in honor of Eddie Casey.
