

Philip Kwok Sing Wong was born on March 6, 1941, in Hong Kong. The second of three brothers, he emigrated to the United States after graduating from Catholic High School in 1960 to pursue his college education.
While attending the University of California, Berkeley, he met his future wife, Fanny. Their journey together led them to New York City, where they married in 1967 and settled in Queens, NY, where they have lived ever since. After a successful career in corporate America, Philip joined Fanny in managing the family business until it was eventually sold and they began enjoying a well-earned retirement together.
After a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease, Philip passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Fanny; his two brothers; Kwok Hung and Kwok Wing; two sons Lawton and Shelby; two daughters-in-law Pamela and Sau; and four cherished grandchildren; Brian, Isabelle, Taryn & Nyla.
Philip will be remembered as a devoted husband, brother, father, and grandfather. His gentle spirit, unwavering love for his family, and warm sense of humor touched all who knew him.
The family of Philip Kwok Sing Wong will be receiving visitors on Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 9:45 AM at American Martyrs Church located at 79-43 Bell Blvd, Oakland Gardens, NY 11364.
