Rita Gagliardo

Rita was born on January 15, 1942, and lived a life filled with creativity, warmth, and love. She shared more than six decades of marriage with her devoted husband, Fred Gagliardo, and together they built a home rooted in family, faith, and care for others.

She was the proud mother of Gabrielle Gagliardo and the late Nicholas Gagliardo, who passed away six years ago on October19th. Rita was also the cherished grandmother of Carolina, Natalie, and Gabrielle, who brought endless joy to her life.

Rita’s gentle spirit, sense of humor, and artistic soul touched everyone who knew her. She found beauty in nature, in family gatherings, and in the small, meaningful moments that made life special. Her creativity and compassion live on through the loved ones she inspired.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358, on Friday, October 24, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

A funeral mass will be held at Holy Family Church, 175-20 74th Avenue, Flushing, NY 11366, on Saturday, October 25, at 9:15 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in Rita’s memory to The Worldwide Fund for Nature.
