We are  saddened and heartbroken to find out the shocking news of losing "Bobby G".   We  first met several years ago at his business, Miller's Tavern.  We quickly became big fans  of both Bobby G as well as his fantastic meals.  My mother's family lived on a farm many years ago just up the hill from Miler's Tavern.  He was very interested in the history of the area. He even hung  some old photos of my family on his dining room wall.  Our sympathy to his entire family, he truly will  be missed by many. My husband Joe and I are so terribly sad that Bobby is no longer with us.  His big heart, bear hugs, love of music and good food will never ever be forgotten.  Our deepest condolences go out to his wife Sherry, his children and grandchildren. 

"His candle burned at both ends; It did not last the night; 
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends—It gave a lovely light!"

Although not born in Taghkanic, his style and charm are
 (as he often sang) “Even Now” a local legend.

Bobby was always ready to recommend my business as I was to recommend his. As neighbors in LIC, we shared support and friendship for many years. He is fondly remembered and dearly missed.
