I've known Bobby since the 2010s. Met him first time and found out we loved the same team, the Mets. Our love for our team made us come closer. As I got to know Bobby, one thing was clear, if anyone could do it, it was Bob. He had a heart of a lion overcame so many things to achieve so much in his life. I really can't believe I'm writing this right now. I promised you that you'd be at my wedding. You helped me when I was at my lowest. I will never forget anything youve done for me. You helped me become who I am and you will be a part of me until the day I see you again my brother. You'll always be my groomsman. I love you Bob I wish I could've done more for you while you were here. I will make you proud I promise. 

Learning of Bobby’s passing was heart wrenching.  It is comparable to a horrible nightmare you pray you wake up from but can’t.  I have struggled immensely to form the thoughts and words I want to express when thinking of my dear friend Bobby.  
I had known Bobby since we were in high school together at Holy Cross.  I have many fond memories of Bobby, from studying for exams, partnering up in class for projects, playing hockey, soccer, basketball & football, going to wedding & parties, going to Mets games, and many many more.  
I had always considered him one of the strongest and most intelligent people I have ever had the privilege of knowing and calling my friend & family.  I was often left in awe at his physical strength, fearlessness, courage & determination.  
Bobby was a person you couldn’t wait to see, to hear from, to bump into, to text, to get an opinion from.  The world has lost one of its brightest stars and his loss will definitely leave a void in all of our lives, but his memory will always live on in our hearts and minds.
Rest In Peace brother!  You will always be missed, but I know you are now in a much better place.

I have known Bob for most of my life. He was like my big brother. We've shared so many ups and downs together. Trying to express how I feel right now is difficult. I lost someone I thought I would never lose until old age. On my last conversation with him, he was so worried that we (dad, cousin, Lucas and I) were OK. That was so like him. I told him not to worry about us. That he just needed to get better. But now he is in a better place, with my mom, who loved him so much. They're both looking after us. Love you, big bro!

Knowing Bobby is like knowing the sun and it’s heat, the wind and the rain, and thunder and lighting. He was like life itself. He was magnanimous, loyal, sincere, and amazing if he let you get to know him for real. So many saw only the outside layer…the thunder and lightning…strong, a little scary, and interesting to watch but don’t get too close. I was lucky enough to see the other sides of Bobby…the wind and rain when he would talk forever and sometimes even cry at something too emotional to share with others. I got to feel the heat of his deepest sincere love that he had for those he called his family. Some shared his blood but most did not. I was lucky to marry into Bobby’s extended family and have him as a brother for the past 12 years. His smile was a ray of sunshine that I will miss until I see him again. I love you, Bobby! Rest peacefully <3

No one understood your pain behind your flashy sneakers and smile. You were too good for this world. I called your phone on your birthday and once the phone rang out I knew something was wrong being that you called me the day before and said the doctor said you weren’t going to make it. I felt the pain in your voice I reinsured you will be ok that you have a stronger mental than anyone I knew. After that phone call I left you a voice mail saying how much I love you “ I knew you were gone and I know you had so much going on and I can go on forever, But I know your in a better place . P.S. you still have to take me horseback riding you promised me you would on July 12 right after you get out the hospital. But God had is own plan and I’ll wait a little Longer to share that memory with you. I love you and will never be forgotten. You were simply to good for this life. I was very fortunate to know Bobby his entire life, he was a brother to me and always will be. My words could never express how much he meant to me or do him the justice of how large his loss is. He was someone I always thought would be there, no different then looking in a mirror and seeing my own reflection. That’s how hard his loss is to grasp. Bobby had it all, intelligence, charisma, and strength. I have never known a more loyal friend. Going forward there will be a part of me missing and not a day will go by without the memory of Bobby being with me. The only thing that comforts me in all this, is that he’s in God’s hands now and TJ has an angel looking over him. 

Im completely saddened by the loss of such a great intellectual human being . From the first time i met bobby i knew he had a great soul by the way my 2 yr old took a liking to him . He will truly be missed . I wish this was a bad dream i could wake up from , we definitely lost a good one . 

Bobby, this is one of the hardest moments in life knowing that you are no longer on this earth. No matter how much time can go by we always pick up right where we started. Thank you for being a true friend all these years and always being there for every event good or bad.I will always remember your advice on life and will miss you dearly. Rest in Peace Bobby. 💔

I knew Bobby for 2 years now and I can truly say he was a great person. We would talk almost daily and he was always positive and uplifting in our interactions. He will be missed by many people who came in contact with his great spirit in person and on Instagram. Rest in Peace to Bobby and my condolences to the Femia family for the tremendous loss. 

Bobby had the gift of gab when it came to sneakers, streetwear or just life in general. Going back through our interactions on Instagram, so much of what he said resonated with me. Although I didn’t know him personally, I truly consider him a friend. My condolences to the Femia family. 

Bobby was a great friend who I met through sneakers. He was a genuine and thoughtful person whose kind and insightful conversation will be deeply missed.

Deeply saddened by the news of Bobby's passing. My thoughts and prayers to his family at this sad time. May he rest in peace.
